Overview
This attractive 5-bedroom luxury thatched villa, situated on the east coast of the island, at Poste Lafayette, overlooking the ocean and the quiet beach, has a large entertainment area partly under a thatched roof. The villa is U shaped around a 7x4 metres swimming pool facing a small garden that gives protection from prevailing winds in winder. There is a direct access to the lovely beach. 75 minutes drive from the airport.
Interior
A large thatched veranda with a stunning sea view.
A comfortable interior living/ dining room.
Air-conditioned master bedroom (ceiling fan) with sea view and en suite bathroom leading to a small terrace facing the ocean.
Children's bedroom with bunk beds, fan, (ocean view) and a small en suite shower room and toilet.
Three air-conditioned bedrooms (double beds) with en suite bathrooms set around the pool.
Terrace with sitting area and view over the pool and the ocean.
Kitchen
Two Fridge/freezers, microwave, gas cooker, dish-washer, and washing machine. A safe in the main bedroom.
Staff
A dedicated housekeeper and maid are in attendance every morning from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm except Sundays & Public holidays. One of them, a very good cook, may prepare the meals. She may cook and serve the dinner for a small fee. The gardener is responsible of the garden and the swimming pool.
Neighborhood
Activities available nearby include water skiing, pedal boats, windsurfing, kayaks, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, sundowning cruise by catamaran, sea cruise by catamaran to the Northern Islands (l’Ile Plate or l’Ilot Gabriel) or kite surfing training in Cap Malheureux, a few kilometres away. In Grand’Baie: Underwater excursion in submarine, skindiving, and shopping in smart boutiques of Sunset Boulevard. Nature lovers should not miss the visit to the SSR Botanical Garden in Pamplemousses. Others may prefer an exciting night at the Casino in Trou aux Biches.
