HISTORICAL GUEST MANSION IN TOURNUS - FRANCE - SOUTH BURGUNDY - XVIIth Century - CHARMING BED & BREAKFAST IN BURGUNDY -

Lotti and Michel offer you a warm welcome at their historical home in the heart of south Burgundy. From Tournus and the "Tour du Trésorier" (Treasurer's Tower) you can initiate discovery trips through the wonders of Romanesque architecture, the beauty of great wines, the pleasure of rich gastronomy. Superb golf courses, a beautiful dedicated cycling road through the villages on top of the Chalon and Mâcon hills between Cluny and Givry, as well as numerous treasures of Burgundy are expecting you. Rooms are double with queen or king size beds which can be split into two single beds if guests so wish. Charge is between 130€ and 180€ for two persons per night which includes breakfast and a welcome drink. Parking is available on the grounds.
We invite you to relax on the terrace watching the boats sailing up or down the Saône river or in the walled garden.

We serve breakfast only. For half a century Tournus has been a renown gastronomic stop as Jean Ducloux placed his restaurant Greuze among the very best with a rating of two stars in the Michelin Guide, where Laurent Couturier him succede with talent and an equal preoccupation of creativity and a continuity. Numerous other restaurants of all levels offer excellent regional and international cuisine. All are within walking distance. We shall be glad to give you our recommendations and reserve a table for you.

Tournus is an ideal starting point on the " Route des Vins ". South you will drive through the hilly vineyards of Mâcon towards the Beaujolais. To the north you will reach Beaune wandering through the world famous villages of Mercurey, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and others. Before dinner time, if you so wish, we will organize for you a tasting party. During his years in the wine business Michel managed to create friendly relationships with talented producers in Burgundy and other regions. We are happy to share these discoveries with you.
