Nadine de Grandsaigne and Alain Hellou welcome you to their home with simple refinement. Our house, La Génaudière, is set in grounds on the outskirts of a typical French village surrounded by vineyards, some 3km.
(about a mile and a half) from the river Loire, between the historic towns of Saumur and Angers, right in the heart of the Loire/Anjou/Touraine regional park - designated a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
We at La Génaudière, are totally committed to your comfort and relaxation. Our house is set in large grounds and the garden is a good place to rest. Cycling is easy here, and visits to castles, cave dwellings and vineyards (some famous, some less well known but worthy of being discovered) are just a few of the things you can do, according to your fancy.
Host Table : We serve simple but carefully prepared home cuisine, using ingredients from local producers. Table d'hotes dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings on reservation: 23€ per person, wine included.
Prices include breakfast (home made cakes and jams).
