Self catering accommodation situated in the spectacular Highlands of Scotland near to the village of Killin in Perthshire.
A small collection of cottages that was once Wester Lix Farm, an ideal location for a comfortable and peaceful retreat being located in a remote and secluded forest clearing, but at the same time within easy reach of nearby villages and local amenities and being less than 2 hours drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh.
Features of the location include our own private lochan fed from the burn that runs through the site. Wester Lix is set within its own secluded and private grounds of 9 acres and is a family business run by its owners Gill and Dave Hunt.
We offer 5 'real-home' cottages, each with their own character and style for groups of 2 to 8+.
"Leabhainn Cottage"
This is a newly built cottage a few minutes walk from Wester Lix Cottages but still on the original farm site.
Accommodation is on a single floor offering combined lounge diner, spacious and well appointed kitchen, plus 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en suite to the master bedroom.
The lounge has a wood burning stove, colour tv with video, CD player, plus patio doors to the grounds with outdoor dining area and private lochan.
The kitchen is fitted to a very high standard and features microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/drying machine.
The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite shower room, whilst the other 2 bedrooms offer twin beds and a shared bathroom with shower.
The cottage was built in 2002 and is extremely light and spacious. Heating and hot water are electric and all windows are double glazed.
