Hamptons New York - The William Hand House Bed and Breakfast - Amagansett Long Island -

A bed and breakfast inn located in Amagansett, New York.
Renovated in 1998, this 1829 Victorian is located in the historic Hamlet of Amagansett, two miles from East Hampton and within walking distance of ocean beaches, fine dining and public transportation.

Each of our five rooms has an ensuite bathroom (some with Jacuzzi tubs), cable TV/VCRs, in-room refrigerators, coffeemakers and plush robes.

A full breakfast is served each morning, and there are cookies and soft drinks in the dining room from after breakfast, until 10PM.

Complimentary guest bicycles are available for your use, as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and towels. Our grounds include hammocks, Adirondack chairs and a three-tiered fountain. We are a short walk from the beautiful ocean beach of Atlantic beach, many fine restaurants and shopping.
Rates include full breakfast, afternoon refreshments, beach parking permits and use of guest bicycles. The only other charge is the 9-1/2% New York State hotel tax we collect. There are no use or service charges at The William Hand House.

Check-in is from 3PM to 9PM - arrivals after 9PM must be prearranged. Check-out is noon.

Breakfast is served from 8:30AM to 10:30AM. For lunch or dinner there are umbrellaed picnic tables in the garden should you wish to dine al fresco.

Children over 16 years of age are welcome. We cannot accept pets, but you are welcome to play with Bugsy, our friendly resident Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and Cutter, the tabby cat.

For the convenience of our guests, we do not allow smoking in the building. Smoking is permitted in the garden.

Our guest rooms accommodate two adults. A foldaway bed can accommodate a third person in some of the rooms. There is an additional charge for a third person.
