Centre France - Les Chatealains Bed and Breakfast in Sologne - 190 km from Paris. The Sologne can be reached on the N20 south of Orleans.
Within the limits of Sologne and Sancerre area, you are in the heart of France in this typical old farm with its pyramidal barn distinctive of the area.
Not far from the Loire Valley castles, on the road Jacques Coeur, close to Bourges, its old wards and wonderful cathedral, our guest house is the natural departure to discover a very rich historical region, to visit Sancerre, Menetou, Quincy vineyards, or to taste all the other delicious specialities.
Your are welcome in our 5 large charming bedrooms, decorated with lime, natural pigments and wax by ourselves, and old furniture found in the family or antique shops. You will love their comfort, their quietness and their own personnality.
When the spring is coming, you will like to spend time on benches in the park and in the heated swimming-pool. By the autumn, you will appreciate the large salon and its fireplace.
You want to indulge in your favorite sport : enjoy yourselves with a walk or with your bicycle or with horse riding in the surrounding forests; 18 or 9 holes course golfs; tennis courts just down the village; fishong in the ponds or in the Loire river; hunting for a day on a Sologne territory.
In the evening, you can dinner either in small restaurants around our guest house or with us, and taste the delicious local products in company of vegetables and fruits from our garden (reserve in advance). |
