Appréciation
This property is a real winner. four things in particular 1. The house is very nice, nice rooms (the master bedroom is lovely), and the views from all the rooms are spectacular. the living room (with a snooker table) is large comfortable and a real winner. The Kitchen is fully equipped and is easy to work in. 2. The gardens of the house are worth mentioning - the canal and the pond are both very nice spaces - lets of places to sit down and enjoy the house and the weather. We had a great time swimming in the pond and sitting by it and dining in the verandah. 3. Mr. S. and his friend who gave us the key are very warm, very accomodating and helpful - that was a very important element of enjoying the vacation - Mr. S. in particular was very accomodating (he came to pick up the rent and security check as I was comng through paris - and I had not sent him either in time, he took a dollar check for the security deposit, on my way out he came and returned the security check when I was in Paris - very warm, very helpful - did not need to do any of this). 4. Location - the village is very charming - it is more or less on the vezere - 10 km from Lascaux, bikes, jogs galore. all that and a tibetian monastry up the hill - you can not beat it in all of Perigord

Very wonderful place. As soon as you enter it it feels like home. The rooms are spacious and the park/garden and swimming pool wonderful. You're in the heart of the Dordogne and can visit various interesting places and towns. We've loved our stay.

This is a really beautiful property in amazing surroundings. The garden is huge with its own mini lake (plus boat)!, large swimming pool, own river etc. The owner has thoughtfully supplied pool table, table tennis, pool shower and toys, CD's etc. The surroundings are very peaceful and there is plenty to do and see nearby.We enjoyed the little restaurant (within walking distance), and there is a small boulangerie and shop in the village. Top class rental property!
