The apartments have been restored using natural materials, the hot water is heated by solar panels, and we (you too) practice recycling of trash (separating glass, paper, plastic etc), and composting. The apartments are non-smoking accommodations.

LOCATION :
Five km from Colmar, in the center of Alsace, on the wine route, Katzenthal is a village with a population of 500. Wine production is the principle activity and the village, located in a small valley, is surrounded by prestigious slopes. Nestled near the top of the village, facing Wineck chateau, close to the vineyards and the forest, this house surprises people by being so quiet and yet so close to numerous opportunities for excursions (on foot, bicycle, mountain bike, and by car). You can combine a vaction in nature with cultural, gastronimique, and recreational activities that Alsace offers including exploring the Natural Regional Park of the Ballons d'Alsace.

- A lovely landscaped courtyard between the house and the tasting room is open to guests for a moment of conviviality, reading, or relaxation.
- Above the parking area we have a picnic area with a grill, some children's playthings, and a table and benches. Ideal for recreational family get-together. At the same spot, the path of "1001 lives" departs and there is also a space for discovering and observing nature (spiral of scents, nesting box for birds, and a hut made from willows,…)
