Jean Louis and Nola his australian wife are wine growers and would be pleased to rent you one of their 3 renovated self catering cottages.
Jean Louis and his daughter Andréa will be happy to answer questions on Chateau La Gontrie and to share with you their passion for wine.
Situated in a property of 11ha surrounded by the vineyards and the forest of the Château, this peacefull retreat is situated at less than 20 minutes from Bordeaux.
There are 3 home vacation rentals and a swimming pool from which you can enjoy the views of the forest or the vines.
**** Cottage LE MAGNOLIA sleeps up 6 -
The house is part of the main building, the Magnolia faces a big park which ends at the vines. The ground floor consists of : a large entrance, a lounge room (with a TV), a dining room, a kitchen equipped with a dish washer, washing machine, mini oven, coffee machine, electric kettle and microwave ; a toilet ; shower room and a pantry.
On the first floor the double room has an en suite shower room with a washbasin. The other double and twin rooms share a bathroom with a washbasin. Separate wc.

Volley ball, badminton, table tennis, french bowls and bicycles are available free of charge.
An old train track transfomed into a cycling track runs a few kms away and goes on for 55km , on which you will discover the region of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux and the Entre Deux Mers.
There is a shared pool of 6 x 12 metres, 2.5 m deep.
A horse riding center situated in Sadirac (10km) can initiate beginners, or take you to discover the area.
A nautic center situated at less than 3 km provides courses in wakeboard or water sking (see link)

Two golfs (18 holes) 30 and 45 mins.
"Tepacap" leasure center in the trees , between 3 and 12 meters from the ground (www.tepacap.fr).
Arcachon with the sand dune of the Pyla 110 meters high, lacanau on the Atlantique , surfing spot , are both 60 mins .
