Palazzo BELFIORE, the residence of an ancient Fourteenth century family, is situated in Florence near the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens and Santo Spirito, in a quiet area in the city centre, in the heart of one of the traditional Florentine quarters rich in handicraft shops, antique shops and typical restaurants, an excellent starting point to visit the city but also to breathe the Renaissance atmosphere.
All of the seven apartments of the palace have been recently restored and particular attention has been paid to architectural details and ancient furniture.
The palace where these seven apartments are located was acquired by Monica e Victorio Belfiore - the current owners - a few years ago.
Monica and Victorio Belfiore chose this palace as it stands in the part of Florence where their father Giuseppe was born and grew up, where he learned the art of goldsmithery and silversmithery in the local workshops, later founding the Belfiore s.n.c. a company that now exports high-quality gold and silver products all over the world.

This apartment has a surface of 33 square meters and is located on the ground floor. In the apartment there is a mezzanine decorated with authentic 14th century frescos with two single beds and a beautiful wardrobe.
The ground floor area is provided with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable and easy to use double sofa bed and a bathroom with shower.
***** Apartment FRANCESCO DE'MEDICI Sleeps 2+2
This is a beautiful apartment on the ground floor, having a surface of 54 square metres, provided with facilities for the disabled.
It has a spacious sitting and dining room including a well-equipped kitchen, a double bed (two single beds on request), a really comfortable double italian sofa-bed, really easy to use, and bathroom with shower suitable also for the disabled.
***** Apartment CLARICE Sleeps 4+2
On the first floor there is this prestigious apartment having a surface of 80 square metres, with wonderful Fiftheenth century frescoes. It has an elegant and wide sitting room with a kitchenette inside a wooden closet, a really comfortable and easy to use double sofa bed, a beautiful double bedroom with two large windows, a bathroom with a tub, and a washing machine.
Just upstairs there is a second level with a bedroom with two single beds (one double) and a bathroom with shower. Clarice is a really pretty apartment, ancient-styled but with equipped with every modern comfort.
***** Apartment LORENZO IL MAGNIFICO Sleeps 4+2
Beautifully restored apartment of 83 square metres situated on the first floor.
It has a hall, a sitting and dining room provided with a kitchenette opening on a small courtyard, a little laundry with a washing machine, a little lounge with a really comfortable and easy to use double sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a tub. Upstairs there is a mezzanine with two single beds, a bathroom with shower, a wall closet and a large storage room.
The Furniture is antique with some extremely beautiful pieces.
***** Apartment COSIMO IL VECCHIO Sleeps 4+2
Cosimo is an apartment of 63 square metres on the second floor: there is a hall, a dining room full of light with a roof window, a well-equipped kitchen, a wide lounge with a really comfortable and easy to use double italian sofa bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower.
Upstairs from the lounge there is a mezzanine with two single beds and a bathroom-tube full of light. This apartment too maintains its ancient atmosphere, even after restoration, but is equipped with every modern comfort.
***** Apartment LEONE X Sleeps 3+2
Leone X is on the second floor of Palazzo Belfiore and is extremely comfortable, with a large double bedroom full of light (two single beds may be made upon request), two bathrooms with shower and a single bedroom at the entrance. In the sitting room you can find a really comfortable and easy to use double sofa bed, a well-equipped and ventilated kitchen with a dishwasher and an ancient Eighteenth century fireplace.
There is a wooden caisson ceiling, the furniture was selected with extreme care and accuracy and the apartment is equipped with every modern comfort.
***** Apartment CATERINA DE'MEDICI Sleeps 6
On the third floor you will find Caterina dei Medici: it is an apartment full of light covering a surface of about 100 square metres and skilfully furbished, with a beautiful view over the roofs of Florence and over the Church of the Santo Spirito church.
It has a quaint hall and a spacious dining room including a well-equipped kitchen, with a washing machine, a microwave oven and a beautiful and ancient Eighteenth century fireplace.

CONDITIONS
The minimum length of stay goes from Saturday to Saturday, arrival should be between 5 and 7 p.m. and check out should be no later than 9.30 a.m.
Changes of Dates are possible upon request according to the availability of the apartments (3 nights minimum).
Payment conditions: 30 % deposit at the time of booking by wire transfer or credit card, the rest will be paid during your stay either by cash or credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express).
Advance deposit of Euro 200 upon arrival that will be returned when leaving.
High season: April, May, June, July, September, October and from December 24th to January 6th.
Low season: January, February, March, August, November, and December. |
