Quality Guest House B&B with Bistro in the un-spoilt old village of Corca, La Bisbal close to Girona, Costa Brava.

With some parts dating back to the 15th Century, El Reces retains traditional rustic character, whilst being renovated to high specification with the latest fixtures & fittings.

The Bistro offers snack or set meal lunches & dinners.

Rooms are very spacious with individual features and all have private bathrooms, fridge, tea & coffee facilities, WIFI & thermostatic heating.

Accommodation options include single, twin, double & family rooms with extra beds or baby cot. Rooms are positioned off a central stairway leading to the top floor guest lounge & rooftop terraces, which enjoy views over the village. Facilities include English TV & DVD. Tapas bar & typical Catalan restaurants are found in the village & nearby town La Bisbal is a main ceramic centre.

Corca is located on the C66 Girona - Palamos road, midway between Girona city and the coast. From the C66 turn into the old village & Carrer Major is directly in front. No. 31 is on the left past the town hall.
Good road routes to the Costa Brava coast, Girona, Barcelona, Figueres, the Pyrenees & France. Bus routes to the village & train station in nearby village Flaca, give access to main towns & cities, but it can be advisable to have your own transport to fully enjoy the local area.

We have just returned from a wonderful long weekend at El Reces de Corca. Julie and Jane were the perfect hosts. Their friendliness helpfulness and hospitality were absolutely faultless. The house itself is beautiful and has been renovated to an excellent standard. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast was superb. Their local knowledge is excellent and nothing was too much trouble

This was our 4th time there and once again we were delighted with the stay. From the beautiful renovated house with extremely comfortable rooms and bathrooms, lovely roof terrace, delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean facilities to the most perfect service from the owners Julia and Jane. Also highly recommend the local tapas restaurant and golf lessons with Jane.

Spent our first night here on a recent trip to Catalunya with a friend. It\'s fantastic, so good in fact that we booked it for our last night as well. Beautiful old house with history, big rooms, super clean, comfortable beds, lovely helpful hosts. And the bathrooms are fantastic - sparkling and with brilliant showers!
