Truly unique, Can Marti is, above all, a country house cut off from the rest of the world. Every day a number of things need to be done to keep the farm up and running. Part of the year, its small and motivated staff welcomes guests (Can Marti is closed from mid-October to end of March).
Can Marti is also a human adventure, far from hordes of tourists! The estate is run at a pace determined by its owners. There you will find, among other things, a variety of crops over gentle sloping terraces supported by stone walls, proudly displaying the lines of almond, carub and olive trees.
If you are searching for an alternative lifestyle, here is a marvellous opportunity to enjoy a break amidst the warm sea breezes of Ibiza!
Here we live in complete tranquility:
* No through roads.
* Maximum capacity l0 people.
* We do not accept groups.
* Although there is no common room for guests, there are 16 hectares of open space to enjoy.
An authentic rural escape (with no needless luxury):
* Thick walls and fans replace air-conditioning.
* No television.
* No hairdryer in the bathroom.
* The refrigerator has no freezer.
* No swimming pool.
All our units have views over an unspoilt landscape and have been decorated individually with a lot of care for the details. Because of the heavy stonewalls we have renounced to install energy wasting air conditioning.
Every apartment has a little kitchen (with fridge and gas stove), bathroom with shower, central heating (wood-burning stove in the Olivo), fan, futon-beds, radio/CD player, ADSL-internet connection (except Olivo) and direct garden access.
The rooms have been restored under ecological criteria, the walls have clay plaster and are painted with natural pigments and the wood has been treated with organic oil.
*** Algarrobo : Colourful studio for 2 people orientated to the south with Mexican decoration.
Big terrace with beautiful views on the farm and direct access to the garden with its furniture (tables, benches and deck chairs). The studio is equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom with shower, central heating, 2 separate futon beds, fan, radio-CD player and ADSL internet connexion.
*** Almendro : bright and friendly north orientated duplex studio for 2 people with Indian decoration.
Direct view and access to the garden with its tables, benches and deck chairs. The studio has a little kitchen, a bathroom with shower, central heating, ceiling fan, radio-CD player and ADSL internet connection. The futon double bed, situated on the gallery, is reached with an authentic wooden Indian staircase.
*** Pino : Independent and original apartment for 2 people west orientated with contemporary
decoration.
The apartment owns a lounge-kitchen, a bedroom with a futon double bed and a bathroom with shower and also central heating, fan, radio-CD player and ADSL internet access. Though the covered terrace (with table and bench) you may admire the sunset or join the deck chairs in the garden.
*** Olivo : Independent and romantic stone house with Arab decoration for 4 people.
The little house owns a lounge-kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a double futon bed and the other with two single futon beds), a bathroom with shower and a covered terrace. It can be heated with a wood-stove and the fans take care of the air conditioning in summer. There are different nice places with tables, chairs and deck chairs to eat or just to relax in the garden. |

Our rates are per apartment and night, they include linnen, cleaning, bicycles, I.V.A. (VAT) and 16 hectares of relaxing surroundings to explore.

Bookings of less than a week can be accepted with a maximum of 10 days notice.

* Sorry, pets are not permitted.
* We ask you not to smoke in the rooms.
* The rooms are at your disposal from 4 P.M.onwards and can be occupied until 12 A.M. on the departure day.
* A reservation is considered definite after our confirmation, your credit card details and the prepayment of 30% of the total rent. The remaining amount should be settled (preferably in cash) at the arrival.
* In case of late cancellation, or early departure, we reserve the right to compensation.
Every year we donate 7% of our takings to nongovermental organizations.
