Panoramic villa situated halfway up a hill in one of the islands that make up the archipelago of the Aeolian isles: the Salina Island. The property is characterised by an exquisite peacefulness and a breathtaking view of the sea and the other islands thanks to the three terraces (from the eastern terrace there is a view of Panarea and Stromboli Islands, while from the southern terrace is a view of Lipari Island). The house was well conceived for living outdoors: the two bedrooms and the living room have direct access onto the terraces, a second outdoor kitchen is well equipped. Outdoor shower. The villa is accessed along a steep and winding road for approx. 250 mt, which can only be reached using a small 4x4 car. The owner, on request, will make available his own Fiat Panda 4x4 for the price of Euro 300/week and is available to carry out the following additional services: transfers to and from the airport, ticket purchasing, transport and meals (price charged is that for the sole cost of the services supplied).
ACCOMMODATION: Main body of the villa. Gr. fl.: living/dining room with fireplace, 2 divan beds and access onto an equipped terrace (50 m2) with views of the very beautiful islands of Panarea and Stromboli. From the living room, going up a few stairs, you enter the kitchen (oven, dishwasher, freezer) with access onto a panoramic terrace equipped with a dining table and an outdoor kitchen (wood burning oven, barbecue, sink), 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower and small private terrace. office with 2 fridges and laundry facilities. With indpendent access: 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower and terrace with views of Lipari and Vulcano. From this terrace you access an original sun terrace with outdoor shower. On the side of the villa and facing a citrus orchard there are 2 independent bedrooms each with bathroom with shower and changing room (th 2 bedrooms can only be accessed externally). TV system in all the bedrooms, ceiling fans in the three external bedrooms. Comfortable furniture. Heating with stoves.
LOCATION: The sea resort of Capofaro (on the island there aren't any sandy beaches, but rather rocky shores or pebble beaches) is only approx. 600 m away and accessible on foot. Approximately 2.5 km away is S. Marina Salina, a small arrival port and residential centre with all kinds of shops. Other interesting centres such as Malfa 4 km away and Rinella 10 km away. On the island public mini-buses link the three villages. |
