Hotel Redfish is a lovely hotel(pousada) located in the Historic Center of Salvador de Bahia, Brazil , in the Santo Antonio neighbourhood, a short stroll from the famous area of Pelourinho.
It is owned and run by an English artist in the style of a comfortable guesthouse with very spacious rooms, some with huge terraces, and probably the nicest bathrooms in Bahia. It is certainly one of the finest pousadas (guesthouses) or hotels to be found in Salvador.
Hotel Redfish was completely rebuilt (opened in December 2003, have a look at the 'Project Redfish' link) to a very high standard, in the style of a comfortable guest house, with great attention to detail.
The high-ceiling bedrooms are spacious, with lovely bathrooms, kingsize beds, air-conditioning, frigobars, large strong boxes and telephones.
The two huge Luxury rooms have private terraces with fantastic 300° views ofthe bay and the city. There is also a large gallery where mainly local artists will be holding exhibitions, and where therehas been installed a computor with a fast line, for guests's use. |
