WHO WE ARE
A charming flat in a 1920s building in Rome, renovated using ecologically-friendly materials:
* traditional lime plaster and paintings,
* bathroom and kitchen decorated with handcrafted ceramic tiles,
* hardwood floor treated with natural oils,
* energy efficient heater and electrical system with night silence,
* wooden furniture,
* many other items (mattress, cushions, etc.) made of natural materials (cotton, latex, coconut)
…and lots and lots of colours everywhere!
Casa Bio is located in the central area of Prati, well known for shopping and good food. This area is characterized by tree-lined streets and buildings constructed between the end of 1800s and the beginning of 1900s. The quarter is delimitated by Castel Sant’Angelo on the Tiber, Saint Peter’s and the medieval quarter of Borgo Pio, the green areas of Monte Mario with its Astronomic Observatory and Villa Borghese park with its Villa Medici and Trinità dei Monti, all delightful sites easily reachable in 10-20 min. walking distance. If you prefer using public transportation, you can reach the underground station ‘Ottaviano’ in 5 min. on foot or 2 min. using ‘Tram 19,’ which stops right in front of Casa Bio’s front door. Casa Bio is also extremely close (within 100 meters) to a principal stop for buses that will take you to any area of Rome.

Casa Bio Bed & Breakfast offers two large bedrooms overlooking the charming Viale delle Milizie and a living area complete with TV and ADSL cable. There is one bathroom. Use of the kitchen is not included, but may be reserved. Ideal for a group of 4-5 people…but not only!
Casa Bio is on the 4th floor of a building which does not have a lift, but the steps are comfortable (and healthy!) and we’ll be ready to help you with your luggage.
Casa Bio also hosts Jamil, a friendly dog very quiet and well behaved! |
