My wife and I stayed at Baan and had a fantastic time. It is a luxurious property where careful attention has been paid to every detail. It is down a quiet lane and so is tranquil and serene. There is a full view of the ocean and the quiet beach is only a few feet away from the end of the garden. It is a magical location where you can lounge around the pool and soak up the sun. The bedrooms are individual villas looking onto the pool. they are lavishly decorated in Thai style. The staff are cheerful, attentive but unobtrusive. You will be pampered like royalty! We have stayed in many five-star hotels around the world and this place is better than any. It is terrific value for money.

I spent five wonderful days in the villa on Koh Samui island in June this year, and want to share the experience with you. When I arrived, I was overworked and mentally tired. After being installed into my delightful room, I went straight for the swimming pool. What a pool! the best salt-water pool I ever swam in. I hardly moved out of the villa these five days, apart from walking on the beach very early every morning watching the sun rise, but my favourite activity was swimming in the pool, under the stars, with the soft sound of the ocean ebbing and flowing. The one word, I would use to describe this place, is serenity. The calm and quiet is immensely soothing and relaxing, coming from a stressful life in a big city.
