Situated in Black River, along the South Western coast of the island, Villa Salines Mauritius offers 7 luxury thatched-roof villas, each with private pool, designed with a modern fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a single room-cum-study, a spacious living/dining room which opens onto a covered veranda and pool terrace overlooking the bay with a magnificent sea view.

Accommodation

The airy lounge/dining-room is furnished with plush sofas, wooden contemporary armchairs, coffee and drinks tables, table lamps, TV cabinet with LCD 40” TV (satellite channels), CD/DVD player, telephone, ceiling fans and internet WIFI access. The dining area has a rustic style wooden dining table and chairs seating 8. This room opens on to a spacious veranda with blinds to protect from the sun and ceiling fans. It is furnished with a seating area presenting rustic wooden contemporary style armchairs and coffee table and a dining area with a wooden table and chairs for alfresco meals. It overlooks the private swimming pool area with its sun loungers, deck chairs and umbrella and offers sweeping views of the sea and magnificent sunsets.
Master bedroom: King-size four-poster bed with mosquito net, air-con, ceiling fan, bedside tables and lamps, digital safe and walk-in wardrobe. spacious en-suite bathroom with open-roof shower cubicle, double washbasin and WC. Room leads out onto a sea-facing veranda.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds pushed together to make a king-size bed, air con, ceiling fan, bedside tables and lamps, en-suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC. Sea view.

Further South on the West coast one reaches Tamarin, with its new Tamarina Golf Course, and popular with those looking for exhilarating surfing, then Riviere Noire long known as the hub of big game fishing where one holidays at a slower pace, before reaching the coast of Petite Riviere Noire where there are a few appealing properties with pool in quiet regions on the beach but more than a km from the main road. Further South still is Le Morne with its several beach hotels and Golf Course at the Paradis & Dinarobin hotels. This coast is dryer than the north coast and generally not yet spoilt by tourism and enjoys an all year round warm climate Also to be noted that no less than 2 well stocked supermarkets (European style) are now operating on this stretch of coast.
