A beautifully furnished executive beach cottage with the best modern comfort within its own private garden. Situated in a quiet private road at the end of the fishing village of Grand Gaube. The cottage is right on the beach.

Maid service: 5 hours daily (except Sundays & Public Holidays) 9:00 to 12:00 & 16:30 to 18:30

Neighbourhood

Grand Gaube, having been luckily spared from the expansion due to tourism, has not changed for years. It is now well-known for traditional wooden boat and pirogue building. At walking distance, a small post office and some small grocery stores. Only one 3-star hotel, Paul et Virginie, shows the booming tourism trend of recent years. It is recommended to rent a car so as to visit Grand’Baie and other tourist sites. Deep sea fishing is possible only from October to June. Excursions by catamaran or boat to l’Ile Plate and l’Ilot Gabriel or inside the lagoon with barbecue on l’Ile d’Ambre or l’Ilôt Bernache. The experienced divers could also take part in underwater excursions to St Géran wreck which had sunk in 1744 and which had been immortalized by Berbardin de St Pierre in his world famous book, Paul et Virginie.
