Our Self-Catering Cottages near the Crocodile Bridge Gate and the Kruger National Park, make it the perfect base for all your activities. We are also very close to Mozambique and Swaziland.
Relax in our extensive gardens on the banks of the picturesque Komati River. The abundant bird life with the occasional hippo and crocodile lazing in the river give our guests a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy a sundowner on our reception deck overlooking the river or relax at the pool. Our viewing deck at the riverfront sports a bench on which to relax and take in the view, or to sit and do a spot of fishing safely out of the reach of crocodiles.
While our upmarket self-catering tour operator cottages are fully equipped, we also offer home cooked breakfast in our cosy dining room at a reasonable price. Meals are also served on the deck if the weather permits.
Board games and a guest library are available from reception.
Our full generator backup allows you to escape Eskom power outages ensuring your comfort.
Whilst there are a lot of exciting excursions in the area, such as guided tours into the Kruger Park, Mozambique and Swaziland, micro-light flights, elephant back safaris, horse rides, beautiful golf courses, guided fishing and more, the ultimate goal is your comfort.

All of our Cottages have a fully-equipped kitchen, lounge area with DSTV and WiFi connections. Our well-appointed and spacious cottages are also customised to give you a memorable and comfortable stay in the tranquil Komatipoort district.

The cottage 4 persons
This thatched cottage consists of a king size bed in a separate bedroom, and a sleeper couch is in the lounge - suitable for an adult or two children sharing
The cottage has air conditioning, a television with DSTV.
The cottage has an en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet and basin), stove with oven, full size fridge, microwave oven, pots & pan, cutlery, crockery as well as a brick barbecue unit in front of the cottage.
The TV area consists of a comfortable chair and the sleeper couch, and there are cane chairs for use on your private patio, where you can sit and enjoy the view or have an al fresco meal.
A maximum of three adult guests OR two adults and one or two children sharing the sleeper couch can be accommodated here.
This self-catering thatched cottage comes with a double bed (twin beds should be requested when booking), has air conditioning, television with DSTV.

Take a day trip into the Kruger Park with one of our very knowledgeable local safari guides, which we will arrange for you, and learn all you ever wanted to know about our diverse fauna and flora of the Kruger National Park.
Fishing with one of our local guides is more than just a fishing trip - it is an adventure. Learn how to catch those elusive Tiger fish (catch and release), or just spend a lazy day at our deck by the river. Always beware of those sneaky crocodiles, though!

Play golf at the Kambaku Golf Club - a unique course on the riverbanks of both the Komati and Crocodile River, with views onto the Kruger National Park.

Day trips to Swaziland, Mozambique and the Kruger National Park or Night drives, Early morning drives, Early morning walks into the Kruger Park with Park guides should be booked well in advance. Elephant interaction & elephant back safaris available locally - book at Reception.

There are also numerous restaurants in Komatipoort 4 km from the Cottages.
Not far away is also the opportunity to meet and ride on the majestic elephant Modjadji at Kwa Madwala - we will arrange this for you. Getting up close and personal with the ellies is guaranteed to make you fall in love with these unique animals.
