La Locanda di Filo is a bright, stylish country house which has been carefully restored to provide Bed and Breakfast accommodation for up to seven guests. There are six rooms (all doubles, all with bathroom). With a large enclosed garden, an above-ground swimming pool and excellent nearby facilities, it is a great base to enjoy the best of several worlds.
The holiday house makes an excellent base for your vacation in Tuscany - the private setting gives you somewhere to top up your tan in peace, but there is a wealth of diversions and holiday activities within a short driving distance.
A key attraction is the long, clean beach which stretches up the coast of Tuscany - a small fee will provide you with beach furniture and a variety of facilities (bar, restaurant, changing rooms) at one of the many Liberty bathing establishments. Other nearby activities include horse-riding, golf and trekking in nearby nature reserves.Grocery shops are just a kilometre away and Lido di Camaiore offers a wide range of shops and facilities. The famous walled city of Lucca is 20km away, as is Pisa with its international airport and leaning tower. Florence, 85km away, makes for a fascinating day-trip.
