DESCRIPTION
Tourist villa La Hiedra (The Ivy)/ four keys. This villa is located in the very heart of El Hierro Island, in Frontera Valley. It is merged into a perfect symbiosis with its environment. The villa has three bedrooms, all of them with air-conditioning and heating, built-in wardrobes, safe, fire alarm; two bathrooms, one of them woth hydromassage system plus an exterior bathroom next to the barbecue; a living room with air conditioning, tv set, DVD and a hi-fi system; full equipped kitchen with oven, electric coffee-maker, glass-ceramic, fridge, microwave oven, diswasher, kitchen utensils and a washing machine; porch; private swimming-pool of 50 m with a solarium of 100m; barbecue and a large garden with different tropical fruit-trees and a sports court; garage for two cars. All equipment is first quality. It is the only establishment of this type on El Hierro Island to be certified as a four-key tourist villa by the public Administration of the Canary Islands. Animals are not allowed. It has an exclusive area for rest in a smallholding of 1012 m. Cleaning service. Electrical blinds in living room and automatic garage door.
The climate of Hierro is influenced by the interaction between the sea streams of the Saharian shoal and the trade winds, which makes it mild and uniform throughout the year. Temperatures on the coast range between 19ºC and 23ºC.
Water temperature ranges between 19ºC in January and 23ºC in September.
Visitors are vividly impressed by Hierro’s dense pinewoods, green laurisilva and spectacular sabinas found in the common Dehesa, on the West.
The island has solitary coves and natural swimming-pools with clear water, as well as a spectacular sea bottom where scuba-diving can be practised.
The whole island has been declared “Biosphere Reserve”, which shows its amazing conservation degree, with its environment barely altered.This makes Hierro an ideal place to enjoy holidays amidst stillness and quietness and in contact with nature. Furthermore, Hierro’s population is only 7000 inhabitants.
