Saint Emilion Bed and Breakfast
We have lovingly restored this fine country house and turned it into the perfect base for trip to discover the vineyards of Bordeaux .
Our “maison de maître” is set in the heart of the vines, on a sunny hilltop, with magnificent views over the Dordogne valley lending it an air of peace and tranquillity. The house is conveniently located for visits to surrounding chateaux and the UNESCO World Heritage sites at Saint- Emilion and Bordeaux.
We opened our house to visitors 10 years ago and have had plenty of time to get well acquainted with the winegrowers and cellars of the region; our local knowledge of the “vignoble” will lead you to make some fine discoveries of lesser known great wines.
You may also make visits on foot or by bicycle through the beautiful countryside to discover the rich architectural and cultural history of the region.
In the evening, we shall be pleased to provide a Table d’Hotes dinner (aperitif, wine and coffee included), cooked from Grandmother’s recipes, on the terrace overlooking the vines or, in winter, facing the grand fireplace. (vegetarian food on request). Guests are also welcome to use our sitting-room and library.
There is a parking lot and garage and for your comfort, all our rooms have a private bathroom en-suite. Rooms are cleaned daily and sheets and towels are provided.
