Seyre, at the footof the Pyrenees is a paradise for lovers of hiking, horse-riding, fishing, swimming in waterfalls, Huntings, alpine or cross-country skiing. Those interested in history will be delighted by the exceptional patrimony of Ariege : the mediaval village of Mirepoix. the picturesque village of Carla-Bayle, the grottoes of Mas d'Azil, the château de Foix, and château cathare of Montségur.

45 minutes from Seyre is the medieval City of Carcassonne, a world heritage site, the beautiful city of Toulouse, « the pink city » where there's something to discover on every street corner. Great for kids : the Forge of Pyrènes, the préhistoric parc or Space city.
And don't forget to sample the local delights from the markets in Pamiers, Foix or Mirepoix !


Château Seyre was built int he XIX th century by the Marquis Eugène d'Hautpoul Seyre,
on the fondations of an old mediaval castle.
In june 1940, the château welcomed one hundred jewish orphans who left poignant traces of there stays through drawings on the whitewashed walls.

60 years later a large delegation commemorated the quality of their wartime welcome by the Hautpoul family and fixed a remembrance plaque on the property that remains in the same family.

July and August and Christmas : 5 900 €
Option : the second floor with 7 bedrooms 14 sleeps : + 1 200 €

Private receptions, weddings, family reunions : price on request
Rental of the entire property(40 people)
Possibility of hosting larger functions.

Price includes heating, water, electricity, pool and garden maintenance, final cleaning and linen.
Sheets and towels are provided and the beds are made upon arrival.

You are the sole tenant of the entire property.

Ce week-end passé au Château de Seyre nous a donné l\'occasion de faire un double saut en arrière.
Le premier de 2 siècles, de par la qualité de restauration de cette demeure qui nous propose une décoration authentique et de bon goût.
Le second est plus modeste, mais ô combien fort en émotion.
En effet, le château de Seyre a permis d\'être le point de rencontre d\'une bande de copains et de copines de maternelle
qui ne s\'étaient pas retrouvés depuis 30 ans.
Quelle émotion d\'avoir offert autant de joie aux ancêtres de cette belle demeure qui, sûrement, ont participé à la fête
sans nous déranger ou très peu... !......
