By cycle it takes 10 minutes to reach the centre of Vaxholm from Resarö where the house is located. Vaxhol is a boating hub, situated in the middle and northern archipelago. Simply take a boat from central Vaxholm to the archipelago or rent one at one of the kayaks rental places in the vicinity. History of the city has been influenced mainly by the military, fisheries and summer guests.
