We are a short distance from some of Johannesburg’s most sought after attractions in the affluent suburbs, offering an interesting array of upmarket cafés, restaurants, shopping malls, art galleries and theatres. Also within easy reach is bustling downtown Johannesburg, with its beautiful historic buildings and exciting inner-city spaces, favoured by the vibrant artistic and creative community.

Brimming with an impressive selection of cutting edge galleries, African markets, fresh produce outlets and eateries, these innovative and thriving urban renewal projects such as ‘Arts on Main’ are worth a visit. Close by is the charming ‘44 Stanley Avenue’ which features popular coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, art gallery, book store and a delightful courtyard for alfresco dining. Tours are available to landmark sites further afield, such as the Constitutional Court, The Apartheid Museum and Nelson Mandela’s Soweto home.

We have six beautifully furnished en suite bedrooms, splendid outdoor entertainment areas, a sizeable rim flow pool, lush gardens, a hot tub spa pool and a contemporary business centre with a fully equipped gym and cosy wine cellar. Each area of accommodation is conducive to an intimate experience of supreme comfort and the entire property is well protected by a state-of-the-art security system.

The Silver Birch Room has a distinctly traditional French feel about it, influenced by the Toiles de Joy wallpaper covering the main wall. Overlooking the silver birches and Koi pond through beautiful sash windows, this cosy upstairs room is ideal either for a single traveler or a couple. It comprises one room with king size bed and an en suite bathroom with shower and baignoire ancienne.
Half a flight of stairs down from here, is a casual TV/reading room overlooking the infinity pool and garden. During the day, this is a bright, sunny spot in which to unwind.

We are equipped with the most modern facilities to make your stay comfortable. From the inviting pool to the spacious kitchen you will have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Executive meeting areas offer the perfect place for business meetings, and state-of-the-art communication and entertainment areas provide everything you need to enjoy your stay.

A jovial ambiance exudes from the kitchen where the resident cook, whips up a variety of culinary delights. Hearty, home-style meals are freshly prepared using freshly picked seasonal herbs and vegetables. Guests are encouraged to take a stroll through the gardens and hot house below the pool area, were they are welcome to select their own salads.
A cosy place to have a snack or cuppa any time of the day, guests may help themselves to an assortment of teas and coffees, including fluffy cappuccinos and homebakes. Although we generally offer bed and breakfast only, lunches and dinners may be catered for upon request.
As with special dietary requirements, these need to be booked ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
Meals are served in the main dining room (located on the ground floor) or in the privacy of guests suites.
Alfresco dining beneath the vine-covered patio next to the pool is an ideal way to take advantage of the moderate climate which pervades throughout most of the year. A peaceful, uplifting way to start a fresh new day!
