This quirky guest house is located in the artistic town of Melville, close to Rosebank and Johannesburg CBD as well as various varsities and hospitals. Local attractions include 27boxes, Rosebank craft market, the Apartheid Museum, Gold Reef City, Melville Koppies and Emmerentia Park to name a few.

We are within walking distance of shopping malls and busy Melville central. We offer not only the most unique accommodation and friendly service but also conference facilities for up to 30 people.
Our rooms each have their own feel and the property is situated down a quiet beautiful Avenue just a couple hundred meters from the bars and night life of 7th Street Melville.

Included in the fee is a continental breakfast of (Bacon & Egg; cereals; fruit salad; toast; fruit juices; yoghurt & tea and coffee) served between 7am and 10am Monday to Friday and 7:30am to 11am on weekends unless other arrangements have been requested. We also provide the option of vegetarian option at an extra R30. Cooked dinners are also available on request and can be ordered in advance from a weekly set menu provided by our favourite catering company at R90 each.

There is a Laundry service offered for those staying over longer periods charged at R100 per 7kg load.

We can and do offer long term stay rates and have 2 units that allow for a self catering option.

Each room has access to WiFi and has their own TV; Fan; DSTV and bathrooms (excluding African Pride room). A splash pool and veranda overlooking a view of Johannesburg is shared.

We offer the following accommodation:
- London Loft: Self contained quirky cottage suitable for self catering if desired. Unit has a downstairs mini kitchen with microwave and 2 plate counter-top stove; bar fridge; large open plan shower with toilet and basin as well as desk under the staircase. Upstairs in the loft area is the bedroom with Queen bed; TV with Shared satellite / DSTV channel and wardrobe and WIFI. A single bed/sleeper couch can be added for a 3rd person or child.
Single person – R550 and Double – R800

African pride: A Budget African themed room with Queen sized bed; Bathroom is not en-suite but rather situated across the hallway from the room. Room has Access to WiFi; tea/coffee station, TV, DSTV / Satellite TV, fan and heater.
Single person – R450 Double – R700

Asian Theme 1: Double bedroom part of the main guest house with sliding door leading onto a private patio with fish pond. Room has pressed ceilings and has own private en-suite bathroom. Queen sized bed is built in and room has an Asian inspired theme. There is room for a 3rd single bed to be added if required.
Room also has access to WIfi and is furnished with a desk, tea/coffee station, TV, shared DSTV / Satellite TV, Bar fridge, fan and heater.

Asian Theme 2: Double bedroom part of the main guest house with sliding door leading onto a shared patio. Room has pressed ceilings and has own private spacious en-suite bathroom. Room has an Asian inspired theme. Room can be converted to 2 single beds or 2 bunk beds if required.
Room also has access to WIfi and is furnished with a desk, tea/coffee station, TV, shared DSTV / Satellite TV, bar fridge, fan and heater.

The guesthouse also has an in-house conference facility/room. We also hire out this room for small functions and parties along with the rest of the house for overnight accommodation making this a great venue for bachelorettes; baby showers; birthdays and teambuilding.

We also offer a range of additional packages and has teamed up with some fantastic tour operators; event organisers; decor and food companies.
We are also proud to announce that we support local artists and therefore display and sell both onsite and online a wide variety of locally produced artworks, these can be viewed on our artworks page. These Pieces make both great personal gifts or corporate gifting and event decor.

Transfers to and from the airport as well as locally can be arranged, a wide variety of affordable tour and combined accommodation packages are available.
