Program
DAY 1 Arrival
Arrival by your own means at your Hotel in Reims in the afternoon. At the reception of the Hotel you will be given a packaged tour with instructions and the essentials in order to make your tour a success (logbook, maps, etc.). Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 2 Reims - Matougues ~ 50km
After breakfast, you will leave the area by bike towards Epernay, crossing the typical villages of the “Montagne de Reims” vineyards: Maily Champagne, Verzenay, Bouzy, etc. Arrival in Matougues at the end of the day in your charming guest room where you will spend the night.

DAY 3 Matougues - Epernay ~ 29KM
After breakfast, a quiet stroll towards Epernay, along the Marne canal. You will have enough time in the afternoon to discover the capital of Champagne wines: Epernay and perhaps even visit its most impressive cellars.

DAY 4 Epernay - Epernay, Loop to La Vallée de la Marne ~ 36 KM
By resuming your journey between the vines and the mountains, on the Champagne Route along the Marne la Vallée, you will discover a rich wine heritage. This route will offer you breathtaking views, overlooking the valley. This path through the vineyards will take you to Hautvillers, a charming village known for its Benedictine abbey. In Cumières you will have the possibility to stop to have your meal in a restaurant carved in stone. On the road to Venteuil, you will appreciate the view of the Château de Boursault. The valley path will take you through villages, vineyards, fields, forests, all the way to Reuil. Return to Epernay via the other side of the Marne. Overnight in a 3 * Hotel in Epernay or in a charming guest room.

DAY 5 Epernay - Côte de Blancs loop ~ 28km
Today you will visit the vineyards of the Côte de Blancs which is the birthplace of the Chardonnay grape. Following the Champagne Route, you will descend to Pierry - where you can visit its 18th century castle, as well as its cellars. You will then continue your journey to the church of Chavot-Courcourt (12th century). After Cuis and its superb Romanesque church, the path will take you near the cliffs to reach Cramant where you can discover its oversized bottle (8m50). Nearby you will find the small village of Avize decorated with frescoes. Return to Epernay in the afternoon. Overnight in a 3 * hotel or in a charming guest room.

DAY 6 Epernay - Reims ~ 35km
After breakfast, you will explore the Hautvillers national forest crossing the Val d´Or d´Avenay and Germaine. Then return to Reims via Ludes. Overnight in Reims.

How to get to Reims

By train: By taking the TGV from Paris, you will be in Reims in 45 minutes! The city of coronations is at the crossroads of the Lille - Dijon - Mediterranean and Paris - Charleville - Sedan lines. Two stations allow you to arrive in Reims: the Reims-Center station located in the heart of the city center, and the Champagne-Ardenne TGV station, in Bezannes, connected to Reims by tram.
By car: Reims is at the crossroads of the A4-E50 (Paris - Strasbourg) and A26-E17 (Calais - Troyes - Dijon) highways.
By plane: Paris-Roissy airport: Reims is located 30 minutes * from Paris Roissy international airport
