A great location with fantastic views, very good food and service plus the opportunity for safaris into the Kruger with Pat, a very knowledgeable ranger and guide. An added bonus is the close proximity of Leopard Creek golf course with its outstanding course, par 3 and practice facilities. The staff were very hospitable, customer focussed and friendly particularly Walter, Marlene, Moses, 'Tookey' et al. The Lodge owner, Colin, was also very hospitable and with Walter enable me to be the first guest to play the Leopard Creek par 3 course!

I had a room on the first floor facing the entrance. The room was big and airy with a very nice bathroom with tub and shower facilities. The bed was good with a mattress and pillows that suited me well. The lodge has a lovely view from the big terrace where you can sit and enjoy a drink or have your dinner outside if weather permits - and weather did permit ;-). What a wonderful experience sitting outside in January with lanterns on the tables and cicadas accompanying a good meal! We went on a morning game drive and a full day of safari and brought breakfast from the lodge. Very nice and satisfying - there were even real napkins there as well. Staff very helpful and friendly.
