There is a beautiful island forty miles off the coast of Honduras called Roatan. The cabana described by this site is a great place to stay while enjoying the island. The cabana is oceanfront and is a single family residence in a quiet development called Sundancer. It sleeps six comfortably, the kitchen is well equipped and the living area has cable TV. A 14' wide walk-out dormer was recently added to the second floor and overlooks the Caribbean.......a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and also end the day under a canopy of stars.
Roatan is in the Western Caribbean and is the largest of three primary Bay Islands located 40 air miles from the Honduras mainland and 120 air miles from Belize. The island has rolling terrain with a natural mountain ridge running down the center reaching 700 feet at the highest point. |

Getting to Roatan From the U.S.
Houston and Miami are the US gateway cities for TACA who fly direct to the island (2 hours) on Saturday and Sunday, from Houston and Miami resp. Other days of the week TACA has intermediate stops.
