COTTAGES VACATION RENTAL near KILLIN - STIRLING - LOCH LOMOND - PERTH - CENTRAL SCOTLAND.

Self catering accommodation situated in the spectacular Highlands of Scotland near to the village of Killin in Perthshire.

A small collection of cottages that was once Wester Lix Farm, an ideal location for a comfortable and peaceful retreat being located in a remote and secluded forest clearing, but at the same time within easy reach of nearby villages and local amenities and being less than 2 hours drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Features of the location include our own private lochan fed from the burn that runs through the site. Wester Lix is set within its own secluded and private grounds of 9 acres and is a family business run by its owners Gill and Dave Hunt.

We offer 3 'real-home' cottages, each with their own character and style for groups of 2 to 12.

An extremely comfortable cottage offering accommodation to groups or families of 4/6. A traditional 2 story cottage totally refurbished for summer 2005 to offer ensuite accommodation, wood burning stove and sauna.

The lounge offers double aspect views with patio doors leading to a decking area overlooking our private lochan.

The kitchen is open plan to the dining area offering Elec oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

Jonna's Cottage now offers both bedrooms availible as double or twin for total flexibility, both with private en suites. Additional sofa beds for children and are cot available by arrangement.

A shower room with a sauna for 2/4 is situated downstairs.

Other features include Oil Fired central heating, wood burner in the lounge. double glazing, colour tv with Sky Digital (full family pack) plus DVD player and a video available on request at no additional charge.

Jonna's Cottage has a very light and open feel with all doors and woodwork left in a natural finish, the lounge is south facing with the private decking area benefiting from sunlight from morning to eve with a degree of privacy.

All heating costs are included in the rental price.

Jonnas Cottage has been refurbished to an extremely high standard and has now been rated at 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.
