The Villa is a beautiful 16th century Tuscan mansion with private pool on the hills of Lucca (12km from the city centre), close by the majority of the renowned historical Lucchese villas, now open to visits. It is ideally located for those looking to explore Tuscany: it is very close by Lucca , Pietrasanta and the Versilia Coast and a short drive away from the main Tuscan sightseeing like Florence, Pisa, Siena etc.

The property is part of a beautiful well-kept estate that produces an excellent extra-virgin olive oil . The villa has been until recently the residency of an old noble family and it is ideal for those looking for an historical villa maintaining its original charm.
A special highlight of the Villa is the stunning terraced garden where guests can enjoy their meals while admiring the breathtaking views over the plain of Lucca. In the romantic style garden there is a beautiful orangery where the owner has created a charming outside sitting area.

The interiors of the villa are tastefully furnished with antiques in respect to the Tuscan tradition. The owner has furnished the house with modern comfort such as wi-fi, flat screen TV and a fully furnished kitchen . The renewed bedrooms are spacious, all equipped with a small fridge and a kettle. Even if there is no air-conditioning, the interior of the house does not get warm during summer due to the old and thick walls.

The swimming pool is situated in a very panoramic position, just a few meters from the villa, where guests can relax and enjoy the breathtaking view.

Guests' staying here have also full access to the tennis court of the estate .The staff, who lives on a different part of the villa, looks after the property and can organise cooking services upon request.
