Luxury Property Vacation Rentals Near Saint Remy de Provence, south France

This unique 17th Century remodeled and refurbished farmhouse (Mas) has 5000 sq ft. of living space on two levels. Along with a large stone barn, this 25-acre property is surrounded by 1000 acres of open space located in one of the most pristine and sought after parts of the Provençal region, called Les Alpilles.




Only a short drive away are some of the most picturesque villages in Provence. Worth mentioning are Les Baux de Provence, the famous fortified village of the XIV century as well as Saint Remy de Provence, where Vincent Van Gogh painted, and where Nostradamus, the middle age visionaries was born. To the south of the Mas is the 2000-year-old city of Arles, which is famous for Roman baths, an amphitheater, and an arena. Arles is also the capital of the Camargue region, an area well known for the white wild horse and bullfights.

Vaulted dining room, with large farm table able to accommodate at least 12 people.
High ceiling and beamed living room, with a large fireplace, large and cozy couches, library with books in French and English, game corner, and equipped with Satellite TV, DVD/VCR, AM/FM stereo.

High quality collection of faiences, pots and pans, kitchen knives, and utensils and dishes for 18 people.
Back kitchen, which is as big as the kitchen itself, with a 17th century bread oven, washer and dryer and a separate area for ironing.
First Floor
Six large bedrooms all furnished with King Size beds, which can be separated into two twin beds. All beds have down comforters.
All bedrooms have a private bathroom with Shower and/or tub and toilet.
All the bedrooms have an individually programmable air conditioning unit.
Terrace
The large terrace has two teak table with 18 chairs, a view of the entire property as well as the swimming pool. You can relax and enjoy a bit of “farniente” under the shade of the veranda where grapes and wisteria grow. You also can relax under the tree and enjoy the Provencal garden full of herbs, flowers and olives trees.
