ITALY TUSCANY B&B - Palazzo Torriani Bed & Breakfast is an Historic Home dating back to the end of the 16th century that has always been owned and been lived in by the ancestors of the present-day proprietors. Today’s owners have recently completed a radical and loving restoration of the building, returning the mansion to its ancient glory.
A result of the restoration work has been to create two apartments, one suite, three guest rooms, furnished with antique furniture and endowed with every modern convenience, addressed to guests who are keen on spending a holiday in an atmosphere imbued with past times, in the tranquillity of a small, charming village in the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines. There is the chance to go for walks, or to use mountain bikes or go horse-riding, breathing in the pure air of the hills, to visit the nearby art cities (Florence, Faenza, Ravenna, Bologna, Venice, all within easy reach by local trains), to relax in the emerald green garden and savour the typical produce and the recipes of the local cuisine. Enjoy being well looked after and even ‘spoilt’ by the landlords.
For the lovers of motor sports, the Imola race track is close at hand for the San Marino Formula 1 Gran Prix, while the Mugello is also close to see the international motorbike championship races.
