South Africa Lodge Luxury Villa overlooking the Sabie River near Kruger
We’ve taken our cue from Mother Nature to create a lodge built ‘of the earth’, with natural materials which will only enhance the surrounding bush environment. The timeless design incorporates steel, wood, thatch, glass, water & sand. A sophisticated mid-century architectural contemporary theme defines the interiors, with bold furniture and edgy décor, ambient lighting, inferences of tribal design and highly textured finishes – all of which combine to make this Lodge an utterly sensory experience.
The interiors reflect an elegant balance between intelligent design and an organic expression of the earth. Light, sound, flow, wood, water and air weave into the golden thread of the lodge’s architectural inspiration.
Despite being well grounded, there is an ‘otherwordly’ quality to this Lodge, represented by the feather. Each of the Villas takes its name from an indigenous bird, and spectacular man-sized prints find pride of place throughout the lodge.
The Lodge comprises of 8 Single Villas, and 1 Double-Suite Villa
All Villas occupy an elevated position overlooking the perennial Sabie River.

The 9 private villas are nicer than most people's homes. Appointed beautifully, spacious, modern, elegant and just breathtaking views. Sitting on the Sabi River looking at Krueger National Park is just memorizing. Seeing animals right from your private terrace was wonderful. The food is as good or better than any fine dining restaurant in any major city and elegant to look at. Private plunge pool, complete privacy, non discriminating staff were amazing. It is not by any means cheap and shouldn't be. It is a experience that will never be forgotten. Safari in luxury is the best description. Private butler is a huge added value. I could not imagine a better lodge in Africa and will certainly encourage anyone with the means to stay here. Truly amazing.

we were lucky to be able to find our way back to this place - in our years together, this is the ONLY place my wife and I have come back to. There are so many places in the world to see - but this place is worth seeing again and again and again. The service is outstanding. They have completely renovated - when we heard they were doing this we thought they were crazy because it was beautiful. Now it is just beyond beautiful. We rode with Phillip and Patrick this trip - just as last time, not a single drive disappointed. It was more difficult to find animals because the rain means food and water are more plentiful - but we had multiple up close sightings of all of the Big 5 - and more. Go - worth it.
