This four bedroomed rural guest house is located at the foot of the Sierra de Carrascoy, a nature park less than 28 Kms. from the capital Murcia.
The house has been completely renovated and now features a living room with natural stone and open beamed ceilings together with a log fire for cool evenings.
A conservatory has been added for all year round enjoyment of the garden, a wide terrace leads on to the swimming pool and play area.

This casa rural is situated a 500 mtrs from the village of La Murta and from here you are only 30 minutes drive from the inland sea of Mar Menor or the ancient city of Cartagena with its mediterranean sea front café bars. A little further down the coast the lively holiday resort of Puerto de Mazarrón can be explored and in between kilometre after kilometre of white sandy beaches and quiet coves.

La Murta has shops where you can buy groceries, provisions and confectionery. Excellent bakery shops, butchers and a tapas bar. The local "Ermita" church is open on Saturdays.
Local activities: A local astronomical observatory can be visited by prior arrangement (tel + 34 968 211 998).
Explore: The nature park of Sierra de Carrascoy is minutes away. Cycle the mountain tracks or just walk and enjoy the scenery and the magnificent views.
Sport: Golf courses are less than 10 minutes drive and for the more adventurous Mar Menor has facilities to enjoy numerous water sports.
Costa Cálida: Excellent beaches along the coast: Cartagena, La Manga, Mar Menor, Puerto de Mazarrón...
