The Golf Villa 119 is a newly renovated five bedroom casa with pool and jacuzzi. It is located on the 11th hole of The Links golf course; a 10 minute walk to the hotel and 15 minute walk to Minitas Beach. The Casa de Campo Resort bus stops across the street for transportation to anywhere in Casa de Campo.
Casa de Campo is considered to be the most complete and finest resort in the Caribbean. Accommodations in Casa de Campo are available in the Casa de Campo Hotel and private villas.
Casa de Campo has three Pete Dye designed golf courses and they are considered among the best in the world. The three courses are The Links, Teeth of the Dog, and the new Dye Fore.
In addition to the golf, the most popular activities for the guests at Casa de Campo are the beach and water sports, biking (available for rental), horseback riding and polo, swimming in one of the many pools, running along numerous trails, a shooting center, spa treatment center and tennis.
The villa is an open style design full of Caribbean architectural features. The centerpiece isa 30' x 30' family room, with a vaulted beamed ceiling that peaks at 30 feet. There are four ceiling fans in this space.Two sides of this family room are floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, one of which which opens onto to a patio and lawn leading to the golf course. All furnishings in the villa are new. They include furniture and objects d'art from Bali, Thailand, Brazil, and of course the Dominican Republic,
Adjacent to the family room is the dining area. The focal point of the dining area is a huge table that seats ten. It was custom-made in nearby La Romana. Like the entire villa, the kitchen is all new with marble counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a pass-thru window to the pool.
The pool and jacuzzi are set in a coral tile deck. It is fenced in so it is totally private. At the pool there are lounges, a teak table, six rattan chairs, a giant umbrella and a BBQ grill.
Guests of Golf Villa 119 have access to all the facilities of the Casa de Campo Resort, including the three Pete Dye golf courses. In fact Golf Villa 119 is on the 11th fairway of the Links course.
Guests at Golf Villa 119 must register on arrival at the front desk of Casa de Campo Hotel and pay a $25 (per villa) daily fee to receive a guest card for the hotel's facilities, and make arrangements for billing for any use of the phone in the villa. They also issue an ID Security pass for the front gate of Casa de Campo.
