Luxurious Guest House situated along one of the most picturesque parts of the canal, in the very heart of medieval Brugge. Once a priory of the Regular Canons of Saint-Austin, the present eighteenth-century mansion with Art Deco winter garden has been renovated into a luxurious guest house that radiates cosiness and offers relaxation.
Each of the two suites has a splendid view on the garden, adjoining the canal, and on one of the eldest bridges of the city. They comprise a sitting and sleeping area with separate bathroom and are very spacious : 49 to 57 m2
Whilst providing all modern conveniences of high quality, the recent restoration has been carried out with great respect for authentic 18th century elements such as exposed oak beams, wooden floors and mantelpieces. Furnished with antiques and decorated with a rare degree of warmth and good taste, every place gets its own intimacy where history resonates.
Every suite disposes of a minibar stocked with beers and soft drinks (wines and champagne on request) and a dish of fresh fruit and some local specialties are provided for you. You have disposal of:
a large sitting area
a separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet
a colour TV (26 channels)
The salon and the library, with nice view over the Groene rei, are pleasant rooms where suitable background music invites you to prepare your visit to the beautiful medieval city in all quietness.
The full delicous breakfast is served in the Art Deco winter garden: fresh fruit juice, rolls and croissants, muesli or cornflakes, cheeses and charcuterie, fresh fruit, marmalades, honey, syrup and chocolate, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. If the weather is fine, breakfast can be served on the terrace in the garden.
