Charming little farmhouse B&B in Algarve,Portugal.

Casa Val Del Rei is an old rural farmhouse restored to maintain the region's architectural characteristics.

Situated on a hilltop close to the Almargem River, it is surrounded by orange groves and olive trees with both sea and hilltop views.

The farmhouse is located in Tavira district, known as one of the jewels of the Algarve. It is a fishing town bearing strong Moorish influences with cobblestone streets and picturesque squares preserving a lot of Portugal's old charm.
The farmhouse comprises 7 fully air conditioned and heated double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and showers.

Two of the bedrooms have a third bed in a curtained off area. Maid service and towel changes included in the price.

Breakfast is usually served outside in the summer months under the old Alfarobos Tree in full view of the surrounding countryside and consists of the choice of cereals, eggs, toast, homemade jams, fruit, fresh orange juice, coffee and tea.

The 13th hole of the Benamor Gold Club can be seen from our breakfast terrace. There are a further two Golf Courses within ten mins of the Farmhouse.

Ayamonte in Spain, is only 20 mins drive away on the IPI motorway and many of our guests play on the two courses they have there for further variety.

We can pass on Green Fee Savings for many of the Eastern Algarve Golf Courses such as :

Quinta da Ria
Quinta da Cima
Quinta do Vale
Castro Marim
For example, winter fees are currently 97 euros at Quinta da Ria and we can get these reduced to 73 euros via our local agent. Benamor rack rates 80 euros down to 59 euros. Club and Trolley hire is 20 euros, 8 balls 5 euros.
