A 2-Hour drive outside of Cape Town on the R60 highway, off the N2, as you head into the Garden Route. Discover the historic charm of 5-Star Guest accommodation that comprises of 10-exclusive rooms - Double, Twin & Family Rooms plus a romantic honeymoon suite.
With breakfast included and a fine-dining restaurant on-site for dinner, we grow our own produce for the table. Just across the road, explore our 680 hectare working farm with hand-picked cultivars that make our single-block wine's - tastings & sales available.

This beautiful house was built in the 1800's. Adjacent from the main building, its newly built suites have their own private entrances, top of the line fittings and plush furnishings.
The Superior Rooms include:
- Room 7: Overlooks the herb garden. This open plan bed & bathroom comforts you with a king-size 4-poster bed, percale linen, coffee & tea facilities, stocked mini bar and air-conditioning. The open plan bathroom has a freestanding stone bath, large shower for two and en-suite toilet. Private patio for your personal enjoyment.
- Room 8: Overlooks the herb garden. This open plan bed & bathroom comforts you with an antique French king-size bed, percale linen, coffee & tea facilities, stocked mini bar and air-conditioning. The open plan bathroom has a freestanding claw foot bath, oversize shower for two and en-suite toilet. Private patio with water feature wall for your personal enjoyment.
Famous for our baked goods, preserves, and orchards, we provide an award winning dining experience.
All overnight guests are treated to our Breakfast, which includes fresh fruit parfait topped with homemade muesli and yogurt, followed by hot breakfast of their choice, fresh squeezed juice and fresh brewed coffee or tea.
Lunch and dinner menu changes frequently as the kitchen utilizes fresh produce grown in its own garden. Diners are sure to be pleased with choices such as the rack of lamb, duck confit, aged beef fillet, or our famous kudu fillet.
All pastas are handmade and salad is picked fresh daily. It is often said dessert should be eaten first, for it is not to be missed. Pecan pie is a specialty made with the organically grown pecans from the farm and topped with homemade ice cream.

- Payment of the balance due at 30 days prior to arrival in high season (May to August)
- The Country House reserves the right to release bookings should the booking terms not be adhered to.
- Cancellation made 90 to 61 days prior to the arrival date: 35% of total accommodation.
- Cancellation 60 to 31 days prior to arrival: 60% of total accommodation.
- Cancellation made 30 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of total accommodation
- Any refund is subject to the discretion of management

From the moment we arrived we felt like wed found a hidden treasure. We were met with warm welcome and the hospitality of Johan and his team was exemplary. The rooms are gorgeous with so much charm and attention to detail. You'll have to see it to believe it. The restaurant offers superb cuisine and the wine produced from their own vineyards. We found this to be the best collection of wines we tried in the Winelands. If you have time, take the offroad tour of the estate with Johan where you make a stop with beautiful views to enjoy wine cheese and homegrown pecans. A stunning experience and we have already made plans to return for an extended stay.
