The Villa is perfect with its pool and outdoor areas for a successful holiday in Chianti and you will be sure to welcome friends in a nice and comfortable place.
Originally a 12th century chapel, the Villa is located near the small town of Casaglia, in the wonderful territory of Chianti in Tuscany; this luxurious house offers a splendid panorama on the "skyline" of San Gimignano (10 km) and allows you to enjoy all the natural, historical and gastonomic resources of this renowned locality.
The Villa offers guests a beautiful swimming pool to relax with friends and family, a large garden for outdoor days equipped with a barbecue area for tasty grills. Over the centuries, the chapel was deconsecrated and turned into a guard tower and then a place of peasant festivals. The owners have personally restructured the property, safeguarding the charm of the old materials and the features of the original architecture.
The house is completely independent and surrounded by cypresses. A few meters and in raised position, a beautiful private pool from where we enjoy a magnificent view.

Access to the property via an unpaved road in good condition.
At guests' disposal: large garden with private pool of irregular shape (about 15 x 6m - depth: 1,50m - open all year) and external shower near the pool.

A l'occasion d'un séjour de 5 jours en Toscane avec des amis nous avons loué cette maison qui nous a semblé atypique. Nous ne l'avons pas regretté, celle-ci est vraiment superbe. La chiensa is wonderful .We were looked after well by R. and his family .Loved the seclusion,views and even though it was a little cold on April the pool is magnificent . La chiensa is a practical ,homely and charactful space and it’s location mid way between Florence and Siena with San Gimignano only 10 minutes away is perfect .We had a great time
