CHAMPEX-LAC is a charming, peaceful and family oriented village in the Swiss Alps. It is also known as ‘le petit Canada’ because of its beautiful lake and alpine scenery, an ideal place for spending a holiday, both in winter and in summer. Champex-Lac is on the very popular Tour du Mont-Blanc and other well known walking tours. There are also plenty of other activities to enjoy in the summer, you can fish for trout, swim in the lake and in the heated outdoor swimming pool, take a boat around the lake, mountain bike as well as play tennis or beach volley ball. In the winter there is both downhill and cross country skiing, prepared snow shoe trails, an outdoor ice rink, an ice pyramid to climb and a toboggan run.
