Mornas is a beautiful village of lesser size, located between Orange and Bollènes. Many vestiges of its past are preserved: at its extremities lie the two fortified gates, on the path to the Fortress the chapel Val Romingier is visible, built during the twelfth century. Finally, guided tours and historical reconstructions are presented at the Fortress. Not far from the vineyards of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Beaume de Venise, Gigondas and remarkable sites: the Mont Ventoux and Gorges of the Ardeche, the village is 15km from Orange and 40km from Avignon.
