South Africa Lodge Vacation Rentals - Luxury and Intimate Lodge in a Malaria Free Game Reserve near the Botswana Border
Enjoy a cocktail on your own private deck and a swim in your own private plunge pool or take a nice outdoor shower! All the suites share a magnificent common area. Fine dining to the hoot of an owl, the roar of a lion or the crazed whoop of a hyena is the stuff that dreams are made of.
The unspoiled African bush is therapeutic – the big 5; the silence; the stars ...
A wonderful special place to experience the bush in an open safari vehicle, eat like a prince / princess and laze the siesta hours away alongside your own plunge pool and watch elephants in theirs – in your own exclusive piece of Africa.
If you seek solitude, it’s yours for the taking.
Each Suite has an en-suite bathroom, private deck, wood-burning fireplace and private plunge pool.
Morning and evening game drives in open safari vehicles, see the BIG 5, enjoy boma dinners (dinner under the stars sitting around a open fire) and spa. Full range of dietary preferences are catered for. You can also explore the bush by foot and enjoy Africa at its best. Unfortunately restrictions apply for children of 5 and younger
Teachers. Guardians. Friends: The guides take great pride in what they do, as well as in the environment around them. This attitude is what enables the gift of the most genuine and un-spoilt view of Africa’s wildlife and landscapes as you out into the bush every-day. A safari is so much more than The Big Five, and the guides have an interest in every creature – big and small.
It would be difficult to find a team of more enthusiastic guides who enjoy nothing better than starting and finishing each day out in the wild in search of animals big and small. Whether leopard or chameleon, rhino or dung beetle, they will share a riveting story and teach you something you never knew before.
The goal is to give each and every guest an experience that they will never forget, to share this really special place, and experience, and in the process hopefully to also create awareness of the need for conservation in Africa. Guests young and old make a captive audience, and no guest is less important than another.

I was there after a week of work in Jo-Burg for 2 nights. The lodge is located in a magic scenic location. The game drives were perfect and sufficiently varied. Great food in cosy settings. One highlight was the bush dinner which was offered as a suprise. Staff was great.

The team were absolutely fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble for them and we were made to feel extremely well cared for. Johan and his team were amazing and our departure was the most emotional we have ever experienced. We didn't want to leave and the team didn't want us to go! The little extras they did ( some surprises ) were so thoughtful. The location is magical with the quality of the lodges and public spaces superb. We saw all of the big five except Leopard with lots of really good photo opportunities. We are seriously missing our Amarula shot with our morning coffee on the drive along with our sundowners in the bush. We will return.

Going on safari was never on my “bucket list”. I simply did not “get” the allure. Despite my ambivalence, this past January (2017) I joined my extended family on a trip to South Africa culminating in a stay at the Lodge. Wow! What an experience!! I truly loved every minute! The Lodge management and staff, including Alan and Sean, were attentive friendly and thoughtful. I enjoyed our many conversations. They ALWAYS had time for me! The kitchen staff was equally approachable and skillful. The food awesome!! Our rangers, Luke, Mitchell and Winand were super knowledgeable and very professional. However they were also really friendly and funny – which is important when you are out on safari for 3 or more hours! We saw more wildlife than I ever hoped to see and the time seemed to fly by! I truly wish that I could properly put into words what an amazing feeling it was to spend time in the Game Reserve with the people of the Lodge, but I cannot. However I can say that this will not be my last visit!! Many Thanks!!!
