We are housed in a 2-storey colonial pre-war shop-house that has been painstakingly restored to its former glory. Each suite is furnished with Peranakan and mid-century art décor furniture from our private collection. All suites have timbre louvered windows which opens either out onto Love Lane or into our indoor courtyard.

Love Lane, which is situated within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, is surrounded by beautifully restored and historical buildings. We are conveniently located a stone’s throw away from Cheung Fatt Tze Mansion, Little India, Fort Cornwallis, and The Goddess of Mercy temple, allowing you to experience and immerse your senses in olden day living as you connect with the diverse cultures and heritage in the surrounding area. As we are situated in the heart of George Town, you will be able to effortlessly discover the unique heritage of Penang through the architecture, festivities and food – which is ultimately a union of cultural elements from elsewhere in this Malay Archipelago, India and China and Europe.

This duplex suite is tucked away at the south end of the building and ideal for those seeking solitary seclusion. This suite comprises of a bedroom on the top at the entrance to the suite, and a cosy den ideal for lounging and en-suite bathroom at the bottom, which are connected to the bedroom by a short flight of hard wood stairs. The bedroom and den have full-length timbre louvered windows that look out into the second air well, and are both air-conditioned. The bedroom is furnished with a mid-century style queen-sized teak bed and a wardrobe and cabinets for your personal items.
