We are housed in a 2-storey colonial pre-war shop-house that has been painstakingly restored to its former glory. Each of the suite is furnished with Peranakan and mid-century art décor furniture from our private collection. All suites have timbre louvered windows which opens either out onto Love Lane or into our indoor courtyard.

Love Lane, which is situated within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, is surrounded by beautifully restored and historical buildings. We are conveniently located a stone’s throw away from Cheung Fatt Tze Mansion, Little India, Fort Cornwallis, and The Goddess of Mercy temple, allowing you to experience and immerse your senses in olden day living as you connect with the diverse cultures and heritage in the surrounding area. As we are situated in the heart of George Town, you will be able to effortlessly discover the unique heritage of Penang through the architecture, festivities and food – which is ultimately a union of cultural elements from elsewhere in this Malay Archipelago, India and China and Europe.

This suite is situated between the two air wells, also known as sky wells, in the building, and is the ideal suite for those looking for some self-indulgence. This suite features a large open-concept bathroom with a rain shower and full length old-fashioned ceramic bathtub. With the sunlight streaming in from the air well into the spacious bathroom, it is great for taking long relaxing baths while watching your favourite programme on the LED television. This suite also has a private terrace, with polished timbre floors and featuring salvaged ornate cast iron grille railings, which look down into the indoor courtyard.
