Robin's Nest is a fully furnished, renovated 1 bedroom apartment available for short and long-term rental in Manhattan. Located on West 115th Street, between 8th and 7th, where Morningside Heights meets South Harlem, Robin's Nest is only 5 short blocks from Central Park - a five minutes walk.
I wanted to create a place where visitors could afford to stay and still be in Manhattan, with proximity to Central Park, good subway and bus lines, and in a part of the city that is experiencing tremendous growth and revival.
Newly renovated, new kitchen, new bathroom. hardwood floors, windows in every room (including bathroom). The Apt. includes an internet computer, Wi-Fi, unlimited USA phone, all linens, full kitchen needs, iron, hair dryer, etc. Just bring your clothing!
A second apartment, called Windy Nest, is also available for short term rentals (for up to two people only) at the same location. It is the same size as Robin's Nest and is quite charming as well. It is up one more flight of stairs (2 in total - Robin's Nest is up one flight of stairs).

Where South Harlem meets Morningside Heights and the Upper West Side
The area of SOHA (South Harlem) is slowly turning into an extension of the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
We are a short 5 blocks from Central Park. You can walk to Columbia University, Barnard College, Jewish Theological Seminary, St. Lukes Hospital, the Cathedral of St. John The Divine, Conservatory Gardens (5th Ave. at 103rd Street), 125th Street (great shopping, The Apollo, Sylvia’s, Metro North RR), all the famous Baptist Churches, etc.
There is a public library on the block, with internet and free wi-fi. The Post Office is around the corner on W. 116th Street. Banks, dry cleaners, drop off laundromats, hardware stores, supermarkets, health food stores, cafes (Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts), Bike store, drugstores, subways and bus, etc. are all within a 5 minute walk |
