Self catering luxury stone farm cottages

Ireland Cottage Vacation Rentals 2 bedrooms in Wellingtonbridge County Wexford.

This estate is a unique hidden gem steeped in history located in South Wexford. It is an old secluded 650 acre country estate which is uniquely unspoilt and untouched by time. It offers visitors the opportunity to step back in time and enjoy some peace and tranquillity.
The estate has been in the current owner’s family for nearly 350 years since it was granted to Robert Leigh by King James I in 1667 under royal grant. The original coach road winds its way along one of the avenues and passes by one of the few coach stops still in existence. The estate which is actively farmed by its owners comprises undulating countryside of spectacular beauty. It is a mixture of pasture, tillage fields, ancient woodlands and marsh land.
Visitors can enjoy seeing a working farm during their stay from the corn being harvested in late summer to the cattle grazing in the fields.
The property is the perfect rural setting for those seeking an outdoor experience. There truly is something for everyone whether it is an action packed holiday or a reviving relaxing break. It is an ideal holiday for families or couples alike. It is particularly suited for groups as the 4 cosy cottages are situated beside each other.
