This cottage is ideally located to tour the wonderful scenery of north Donegal. On your doorstep, you have the renowned Atlantic Drive. This is a scenic drive starting in nearby Downings and continuing around the spectacular Rosguill Peninsula. In the locality, you also have the spectacular Lough Salt Drive.
The natural terrain of the Rosguil Peninsula and the waters of Mulroy Bay and Sheephaven Bay provide the basis for many of the activities that the visitor can enjoy. There are many water based activities in the Carrigart/Downings area - including windsurfing, swimming, sea angling and boat charters. Horse riding and hill walking are popular local activities. There is also an abundance of golden sandy beaches.
The holiday home is less than 4 km from the new Mulroy Bridge that links the Fanad and Rosguill Peninsulas. This will make it much easier for visitors to the holiday home to access attractions such as Fanad Lighthouse, Post salon Beach and Golf Course and the Knockalla Coast Road
A little further afield you have beautiful and varied coastal landscapes in such areas as Bloody Foreland, Horn Head, and the Rosses . Moving inland you have the majestic and unspoilt Donegal Highlands.
