Our Guesthouse is situated in the quaint little village of McGregor which is near Robertson in the Western Cape. The village of McGregor is a 2 hour drive from Cape Town and regardless which route you choose, you will be enthralled by the stunning mountain and vineyard views en route.
As you enter the village you will notice the thatched roofs and whitewashed walls of the Cape Cottages which is the recommended style of architecture in the village.
Most of the roads in the village are not tarred and there are no robots or franchise businesses but you will be pleasantly surprised to discover that McGregor is not a sleepy little village! There are lots of hidden gems to discover as you chat to the locals out for an evening stroll or relaxing in one of the coffee shops.

When you arrive at our Guesthouse, you will discover that we are situated within walking distance of the various shops, restaurants, coffee shops and arts and craft venues. It is the norm that parking outside accommodation establishments is on the street and we are no exception.

We have 2 guest suites available for couples looking for a romantic night away from the TV and the kitchen sink! Both suites have private entrances along pretty garden paths and private outside patios where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. Luxurious queen-size brass beds await you in suites that are well-insulated against the summer-heat; but will also keep you warm during the bitterly-cold winter nights! You will be able to enjoy a candle-lit bath or shower in the en-suite bathrooms which are appointed with modern fittings and fluffy towels on heated towel rails. There are separate bath and shower facilities in both Suites.
The first suite has an en-suite bathroom and the second en-suite bathroom (and toilet) is open-plan to the bedroom area. If this is not your choice, please rather book the first Suite which has a door separating bedroom and bathroom areas.

The rate includes an optional light continental breakfast served either in the main dining area or as a breakfast basket delivered to your suite. Many guests prefer not to commit to any time schedule, rather waking up at their leisure then ambling down to the village or walking in the krans before having a relaxed breakfast at one of the coffee shops in the village. Guests are more than welcome to choose whatever suits them best. Specific dietary requests need to be made at the time of booking.

This accommodation in McGregor Suite is wheel-chair friendly – a flat path from the car to the Suite and plenty of space to move around in the Suite and en-suite bathroom.
