A 2-Hour drive outside of Cape Town on the R60 highway, off the N2, as you head into the Garden Route. Discover the historic charm of 5-Star Guest accommodation that comprises of 10-exclusive rooms - Double, Twin & Family Rooms plus a romantic honeymoon suite. With breakfast included and a fine-dining restaurant on-site for dinner, we grow our own produce for the table. Just across the road, explore our 680 hectare working farm with hand-picked cultivars that make our single-block wine's - tastings & sales available.

The Executive Suite is housed above the original wine cellar and features the original meter-thick walls, updated-thatch roof and original doors. The building has been lovingly restored to its original glory and exudes the magic of yesteryear.
- Room 5: has a private staircase leading to views of mountains and the pecan nut tree orchard. This extremely spacious room has a thatch roof, king size Sleigh bed, air-conditioning, coffee & tea facilities, fully stocked mini-bar and percale linen. An open-plan bedroom & bathroom, the Victorian bath is pride of place with a separate shower, en-suite toilet and bidet.
- Room 6: Has the original wooden floor, a long-length king-size bed (can also be made up as twin beds), percale linen, air-conditioning, coffee and tea facilities and stocked mini bar. The en-suite bathroom with opulent bath, oversized shower, toilet and bidet also has under floor heating. Enjoy the large porch area for private dining and lounging. This room also has an extra single bed in the entrance hall to accommodate a child and/or a cot can be put in here for infants. Orchard view.
- Room 9: is for those who desire extra space. This open plan bed and bathroom will spoil you with a king-size bed, percale linen, coffee & tea facilities, stocked mini bar and air-conditioning. The open plan bathroom has a claw foot bath, large shower complete with en-suite toilet & bidet. Orchard view.
Famous for our baked goods, preserves, and orchards, we provide an award winning dining experience.
All overnight guests are treated to our Breakfast, which includes fresh fruit parfait topped with homemade muesli and yogurt, followed by hot breakfast of their choice, fresh squeezed juice and fresh brewed coffee or tea.
Lunch and dinner menu changes frequently as the kitchen utilizes fresh produce grown in its own garden. Diners are sure to be pleased with choices such as the rack of lamb, duck confit, aged beef fillet, or our famous kudu fillet.
All pastas are handmade and salad is picked fresh daily. It is often said dessert should be eaten first, for it is not to be missed. Pecan pie is a specialty made with the organically grown pecans from the farm and topped with homemade ice cream.

- Payment of the balance due at 30 days prior to arrival in high season (May to August)
The Country House reserves the right to release bookings should the booking terms not be adhered to.
- Cancellation made 90 to 61 days prior to the arrival date: 35% of total accommodation.
- Cancellation 60 to 31 days prior to arrival: 60% of total accommodation.
- Cancellation made 30 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of total accommodation

We had a wonderful stay here in October. Our son, seven years old, and us adults were taken care of the best way possible. Our room/suite was beautiful, the surroundings breathtaking, the food and wine excellent. The manager and staff were always helpful. We recommend the 4wheel-drive around the estate; to drink a glass of wine with these views were quite an experience. Hope to be back some day!
